So do you remember your first birthday? Well I can tell you that Cillian here will have this pictures to remember it for ever! As you can imagine it was so much fun doing this session. We let Cillian attack the cake, yes total freedom and boy did he like it.
I could not see a better way to celebrate this incredible important day.
Happy First Birthday Cillian!

Little Ciara came to the studio with Fiona, Andrew and Toby. I meet the three of them a few years ago when Toby was just a baby so I was so happy when fiona call me last week to let me know that they just had a lovely little girl and they wanted me to photograph her.
For me having families coming back to me when they expand families or on important dates is what make my job the best.
I'm so delighted that they trust me to photograph Ciara so I hope that you not just like this pictures but love them as much as I do.
Thank you guys!

Totdlers , totdlers, totdlers, they are impredictable, fun , curious and with so much energy. So when you have a family with a three and a half and a two year old, you do not know how the session will go , right? But not with the McManus family, Millie and Tom got so relax that aparently where talking about the session the next day too!
Enjoy this wonderful family, and just to let you know that as spring is finally arriving this session will not be the last one you see of them!
Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

What to say about Tess and Ria, cute, lovely , fun and absolutely beautiful little girls. I had so much fun with their session and editing the pictures, which it was not easy considering the levels of cuteness.
Enjoy this two little elves!
Thank you Susan and David for coming to me and trusting so much. I can wait for the new arrival!

Yes, today is my birthday!
I usually take an image of myself for my birthday. And I do it for two reasons: the first one because one day my kids will have a library of images of their mother and for me this is very important, and the second one is because I actually like doing Self-Portaits! Call me vain but I enjoy using different lights, different make-up. But to get a shot that I think is ok to use (and I'm very self-critical) I need to do lots of frames.
So today, on my birthday I wanted to show you a selection of pictures that I did yesterday just to try to get one right.
So at the end I decided to use one of the last pictures, and with a bit of editing help...Voila!

Fun, fun, fun, what an amazing session we had last Saturday with The Murphy family. They came all the way from Galway and it was so easy, so pleasant, so natural to photograph them that i had trouble just to choose five images to show.
Thank you Mary, Donald, Siun and Eoibhin for such a beautiful session.

Before Christmas I photographed little Marc when he was only 6 weeks old, you can see it here. And last Saturday his parents came back to the studio for his 4 month old session. Until you see the pictures back to back is hard to imagine how much this little baby has changed in just a few months, check out the first two images!
What a joy of a session and thanks again to Marc and Noeleen for trusting in me so much!

So on Monday ( my normal day for posting ) I said that I had something special for today. Last week I went to a seminar in Dublin run by Seamless call Photo Fusion. It was taught by Rob and Vanessa who came all the way from New Jersey. I had an amazing time and I learnt a lot. And what I learnt is to shoot video with my camera, short clips to make a session that little bit more special. So on Friday I packed my camera bag and drove down to Cork. I love Cork. Yep, I'm going to said it again, I love Cork and I love my friends who live in Cork.
So Saturday afternoon we spend a couple of hours shooting, and here is the result.
I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did making it! Thanks Mick and thanks Jane for being so generous and amazing friends!

Jack is 4 month old and Jack is one of my first babies to come back after doing the newborn session. It is incredible to see how different he looks. The first two pictures are the proof.
Can not wait for three more month when Jack will come back to my little studio for another fun, loving session!

Every year I make the most
ridiculous New Years resolution so for 2013 I decided that what I wanted was to take more pictures of the family.
I just want to capture the day by day life of my kids, to record their routines, to show how amazing they are!
So, what is your New Years resolution?
