This is a post from the heart. And I'm saying this because I really believe it. I have been photographing for over 15 years now and I did portraits of newborn, babies, children, teenagers, couples, men and women under 50, but grandparents alone not so much. Let me explain. I have photograph nannies and granddads, yes I have done it, but always on the same setting, with their families, or the grandkids around, but not alone. It is like when you become a grandparent your identity is gone and it only makes sense if you have your family around. I would love for every family to think about them, why not to have an amazing portrait that will be pass to future generations?
The two pictures I have below are from family members and I could not be happier that I got them. My kids will always have a beautiful image of their granddad. So please do not forget them!
